I don't go into town very often but know the usual spots, are there any specific places you can recommend? We are both 40ish, married so not looking for places to pull He is used to living it up in London on a good salary but also like traditional pubs. I might try a selection across the spectrum. Started in the Forum, then Common Room for a few games of pool, Devonshire Cat and finished somewhere on west Street which I can't remember the name of. It was a good night apart from the last place. large and yellow from the outside. Out again wed night with the same mate and another from Manchester so will try a few more then. Any more suggestions.
