Is it just me that doesn't have the slightest interest in the Olympics?

Let's not get sidetracked by the terms we use. Whatever you want to call them, the fact is that most of the jobs created by the olympics have gone to foreigners rather than british workers, so in reality there's been no significant economic benefit to the UK at all.

and you completely ignore the links I presented which show things in a completely different light than the ones you are championing. Deal with facts, it makes you look less of an idiot

I'm doing a project on how Sheffield is preparing for the Olympics. Does anyone know of any projects or events coming up in Sheffield on the theme of the Olympics?

We're not. Why should we? They aren't here but in a far-off city some 150 miles away.
