Speed-garage fans HAVE to check out Reflective at Aqua, next one is 25th March I think, check with Kirky or the Reflective board for more details/sign-up for membership (which gets a discount on tickets, addition to mailing lists etc!)! Flyering/helpingout/writing for a music mag/promoting another night/sh*gging one of the Djs is the normal way onto the guestlist... I'd assume that youre into the more commercial end of stuff - in which case Sundissentail at Gatecrasher on last sunday on the month is your best bet with all the usual hard house suspects. The mainstream trance & hard house scene has died a bit of death everywhere and especially Sheffield - but there is strong underground harder dance scene with Planet Zogg, Headcharge, Jackhammer, Noggins, NTA etc. Planet Zogg is this sat at Zero and you'll hear some trance- but definately the more techno end of the sound. As for house- theres a few thread on here already that go into more detail - but look out for Scuba, Hustle, Pin Up club and on amore underground tip (as they say) Cheek and Uzlot.
