alanfergus
The American game of baseball is not the same as the one recorded in the 1640s which Bryson refers to this was Rounders where you ran round 4 Bases, I have copy of a woodcut showing the pitch I also have a book of rules which shows Rounders then Rounders Baseball then Baseball. Guess who wanted to buy it from me? I have a medal for top scorer at rounders from 1890 in the Newsham League If anyone has any old memorabilia we at Rounders England could give it a good home in our National Office. A Cavalier who was part of the team that won everything in the 1970s
paul28uk
Ha, just split from a GF who played it, coached it etc etc. Aaaaargh! p.s. If it's mixed I may fancy for a laugh. As you can imagine, I know the rules like the back of my hand now!
