ali63 Posted March 11, 2005 Share Posted March 11, 2005 Hi just wondering if anyone can remeber going to Frederiks Tailors shop (my father in law) in the 50's 60's originally on langsett Road then he moved to Middlewood Road where the exelsior chinese is now. He originally worked for Barney Goodman before setting up with a collegue, father in law's name Fredrick Hallam colleague Eric hence the name Frederick. Before that they used to be on Middlewood Rd opposite Hillsborough Park if I remember. PopT Posted February 21, 2007 Share Posted February 21, 2007 At one time the Frederick shop employed a lovely looking girl by the name of Mary davy. I always used to call in to see her whenever I was passing the Middlewood shop at the bottom of Leader Road.
