Different Forums You Frequent And Why

Recommended Posts

just been thinking about the forums i frequent and why i seem to be addicted to em, yet theres forums ive been on and left almost instantly????

seems strange

currently theres 3 forums i frequent daily (inc sf)

ive passed through a number of them tho...but they dont seem to have the same hold and im not sure why

i think the reason i like sf is the sheer number of members (which means theres plenty of scope for meeting new people)

not sure on the other two tho as they only have about under 2000 members each, maybe its just the type of person there and the majority i get on well with?

I haunt quite a few forums.

This one, which is the main one.

A forum thats on its last legs- I go there to gloat, give them a glimmer of hope and gloat even more.

And.. a forum thats in the U.S, thats a macabre little forum, I dont add much to it because theyre all wierd and Im normal and they scare me!

I go to others too but... no names, no pack drill...

The main other forums I frequently post on other than here are the forum on policespecials.com, especially while my application to SYP Specials was ongoing, very useful info on there. I also use the forum on http://www.caws.ws, which is about creating wrestlers on WWE and other licensed wrestling games for consoles.

I may have to send you a personal invite to my specialist forum Richie baby

SF is the only forum I use as a forum is intended - to discuss issues. I read the IMDB forums but don't participate in them, same with the BBC's 606 service. I prefer the 'community' we have here, you get a feel for quite a few people which makes it nicer.

i do think thats a reason why ive joined and left some forums quite quickly

either

1: no user action so bored quite quick

2: dont bond with anybody quite quickly
