EmeraldEye
I have noticed this place has been selling its wares on this forum for a few weeks now........quite rightly so as well. I went out of my way today inbetween work visits and had a great meal. £3.50 for three currys and rice, I had the lamb, chicken and the chickpea curry, couldnt resist the spinich bahji as well, 50p each. Did not want to carry on working.....stuffed. I have eaten in most curry houses in Sheffield and the quality is very comparable especially when you consider the price. Well done the folks at curry canteen and I for on ewill be returning on a regular basis. emaraldeye

MuteWitness
Do like this place but would like to see the veggie curries vary a bit more, would come a few times a week instead of once a week then.

Joe-Public
Is it just a take away or can you sit down to eat. Can you take your own drink (If you can sit down to eat of course) What are the opening times please
verona
You can sit down to eat, they also do takeaway an you can buy soft drinks there. It's open 11.30 to 6pm. He was thinking about opening at night but not sure if he has. The price has gone up though. It's about £4.70 now and when it says three curries, it meens three spoons full of curry and rice. Still filling and good value.
