The B of ABC
I have not seen Vicky for about 30 years. She came to work at Davys in the General Engineering Department in the large office block on Prince of Wales Rd. I think she was called Vicky White then, but not sure. In answer to an earlier thread, there was also an old farm where Davy's Sports club was. The barns were still standing when the Bowden Wood Estate was built. mikep57
This is a long shot I know, but does anyone remember them, or know the history of them? My grandma used to live in them, I think before WW2. They were on Prince of Wales road, as I understood in a type of cul'-de-sac. I don't know how many cottages they were altogether, I'd love an old photo, but I can't even find one on picturesheffield. Can anyone help They were brick semi's and were knocked down when the car park was built.
