You keep telling yourself that! Castle market is closing and coming to the moor, wicker just got a new road and less than 3 months there was a daylight murder 100 ft from the arches! The centre is getting a major overhaul as is the Moor, i personally feel much safer around John Lewis or west st than venturing unless by cab in other areas like you mention.
