Anyone know what the longest road without a pub on it is?

Its Staniforth Road.

When the Staniforth pub was built (early 60s) it had to be set back off the road because the land owners, (Duke of Norfolk I think) had a covenant that stated that licensed premises could not be operated on thier land.

I thought that also, but wasn't the landowner a Colonel Staniforth ?
