Treatment
Its Staniforth Road. When the Staniforth pub was built (early 60s) it had to be set back off the road because the land owners, (Duke of Norfolk I think) had a covenant that stated that licensed premises could not be operated on thier land. I thought that also, but wasn't the landowner a Colonel Staniforth ?

Eater Sundae
Not a road, but it as always struck me as odd that there's no pub in Fulwood village - the nearest ones being the Shiny Sheff, the Rising Sun at Nethergreen, and I would guess the Rising Sun at Ringinglow. Floridablade
There isn't a pub on the road between Benghazi and Tripoli along the coast road. The I95 between Miami and Portland in Maine has never had a pub on it. I did drive from Merida and Cancun in Yucatan in Mexico and no pub was evident. Nodens
Ecclesfield Rd. Now that the "Railway" and the "Shiregreen Hotel" have been demolished it must be about 2.5 miles between Wincobank and the "Travellers Inn" in Ecclesfield.
