Vague_Boy
To him, "it tastes exactly the same as Worcestershire sauce". That's because it does. (Born across the road from the factory and weaned on Henderson's in case anyone is wondering.)
Lockjaw
I heard Ghandi loved it on his bread rolls. I think you'll find he called them his barmcakes.
Anna B
Henderson's Relish should be in the Tour de France's Yorkshire Goodie bags !! An opportunity to sell what is good in Yorkshire, how about that then ? What a brilliant idea! Pass it on to the right people.
Mr Clowning
Give the lancashire twonk a slap and remind him who won the war of the roses Erm, didn't we loose that ? ---------- Post added 24-01-2014 at 00:13 ---------- For anyone who does not know the difference between Hendersons Relish and Worcester Sauce... www.hendersonsrelish.com
salsafan
What a brilliant idea! Pass it on to the right people. I thought that the members of Republic of Sheffield will do this instead since they are so proud and is vocal on here. Anyway, I sent the query forward to Welcome to Yorkshire now. (Fact of the day: Did you know that this tourism website does not even sell local 'branded' produce online? That is surprising. Very surprising.) CottonTop
I used to have a stash of Hendersons Relish. I snuck it home in my suitcase last time i was over there but sadly its all gone and last I checked they won't ship to the US. I really did prefer it over worchestershire and I put it in everything. Bob England
Didn't we pay you tree huggers off with the invention of vegemite ???? You try eating a good old yorkshire Hash an Dumplings without hendo's... sacrilidge pure sacrilidge You have brought a tear to my eye! Hash and dumplings with Hendersons relish. From the orchards of Achaea to the vineyards of Bordeaux, from Ice cream of the Via Veneto to the finest kitchens in the world, Neither Gordon or Jamie, Michele or the brothers Roux could ever in a million years produce a taste as heavenly, divine, inspired, revolutionary or motivational as Hash and Dumplings with HENDERSONS relish. Glennis
My problem with all this is that I was born in Worcestershire and have lived in Sheffield for 20 plus years and never tasted either sauce. I need to get myself educated, me thinks!
