Ousetunes
Bull's Head in Castleton. Snow on the ground, bottle of Old Tom beer sat beside the log fire in the Bull's Head, lovely. The Eyre Arms at Calver crossroads has a huge stove which you'll not need to sit too close to. No doubt there are loads in the Peak District - the stables bar at Monsal Head, for example, another real ale haven. I also think that in Fagan's the heating is gas. There used to be a little heater on the wall in the tiny snug which made a gentle hissing noise which, along with copious amounts of Guinness could see one asleep in minutes.
