cgksheff
He recently used it to dry his coat after he fell into a pond the belt has probably come off, if it is that you can fit a new one for less than a fiver. That's as may be, but what about the dryer?

skinz
The drum in my tumble dryer has stopped spinning but it still heats does anyone know what the problem could be? The model is a indesit reverse action IS31V Thanks Says it all. Manufacturers fault on this model. Drum brake modulator is known to cause havoc with the throcket bearing. Cost to replace is in the region of around £280. As a fellow forum member I can repair for about £170. Ignore other "belt" advice. They don't know what their on abaht. neeeeeeeeeek
Take the back off and have a look. if the belts off, get a new one, if notm you will be able to see if it's doing anything. Mine started making some awful noises and when I took it to bits I found a bra wire wrapped round it. It was a bitch to get off and nobody has admitted ownership of a broken bra so god only knows where it came from!
