Marx
I went in my local in Woodhouse, ordered a bottle of cider and a glass of wine and it came to over seven quid. I haven't been back since.

Bilge
Sadly the Lescar isn't a proper pub any more, so if you go there at all you don't expect sensible prices that encourage you to stay for a few rounds. You expect to be ripped off and treated poorly. Also I went there a few months ago and although it was almost empty the staff were making a terrible racket with all the cutlery, it was like a school canteen. Then they were talking very loudly about the customers in a very negative way. I won't be going back until it changes back to 'proper pub' status. Maybe too late for many people though.
