top4718
Went for a meal at the refurbished Mosborough Hall last night and really enjoyed it. Nice premises, the bar area is especially good. The food was also good, quite expensive but not silly prices. The only slight minus point was that the service was a little lacking and not attentive enough. All in all a decent night out. Has anyone else tried it???
DippyDore
not tried it for food, although I witnessed the revamp a few weeks ago when they were putting the new bar in. I noticed they were installing those trendy chrome bar taps - a sure sign that fizzy lager was on its way. I don't suppose the bar has any real ale on tap does it? Is the place still owned by Michael Grade, ex BBC director?
top4718
Not a fizzy lager fan myself, the Boddingtons was ok though. I believe it is actually Greg Dyke (ex BBC director general) that owns the place.
