bensonhedges
Yes I would agree with the generfal consenus here that the r-opened Sanctuary is very good, definitely friendlier and wish it all the bets in succeeding even better - it can form an integral part of a gay pub crawl in whatever direction :-) and I cannot wait for them to start up special events too when they get the funds e.g. live acts, karaoke, drag etc If they have drag I for one won't be going. Especially if it's a certain "act".

andii
not sure why so many people think drag act = gay bar ? Sure, some drag acts are fun but i just want somewhere to drink and meet with friends.

nomis78
As far as i am aware theres no plans to be drag acts at sanctuary, they are having DJ's soon but are waiting on the DJ equipment at the moment I think

discodown
If sanctuary are smart they'll do what nobody else does on the gay scene and go for things like rock nights, indie nights, live bands etc
Ghostrider
If sanctuary are smart they'll do what nobody else does on the gay scene and go for things like rock nights, indie nights, live bands etcHmm, interesting idea, however I cant think of any gay rock dj's in sheffield - not that they would HAVE to be gay, but they would be happier with the surroundings if they were. Mind you, I will play anywhere..... Is it just me, or does that sound a little suspect
rad
What about the team that used to run Pink Glove (was that its name?)? Some of them could DJ?
