Yes I've heard also that L'incontro at the junction of Abbeydale Rd and London Rd next to mount pleasant park and even open on mondays with a "credit crunch" cheap menu is really really excellent !! A notice in the window said it was re-opening on 2nd July.Has anyone been yet or know if the same people are running it?Aah you beat me to it! Drove past at the weekend and saw that it had re-opened, and thought I'd share the good news on here I hope they will still be doing takeaways too... We tried the 2 courses for £10 recently (Mondays-thurs) Really good, had garlic mushrooms then pizza, very nice thin base just how i like it. Does anyone know if Portofino do any special offers? Becky86 Posted March 25, 2010 Share Posted March 25, 2010 Al Carretto is better, I should know I am Italian. lol Try the ribs best ever, nicest italian dish I have had in the UK not just Sheffield. Don't mind if the staff aren't over the top in friendiness, I don't go for them I go for the food, I have my own company don't need waiters to entertain me.
