I knew two families, the Drabbles and the Moores, One lived round the corner from the Vine and the other on Bramber St opposite the Vine.

Yes I remember both families The moors lived in whot we called the top yard I can only recall one first name (terry) moor.

Terry was the son, his brothers were Alan and David. Their parents died a good while ago. I remember, at the bottom of their entry was a steep flight of steps to a lower yard.

They were re-housed to the then new houses on (293) Blackstock Rd.

I remember now, yes the yard at the bottom of the steps is were the Morley's & the harpin's lived.

My dad was always talking about when he lived on Bramber Street, but this was the very late 30's/early 40's.His name was Nichols.
