Same here. I was under the wrong impression that jaundice was a barrier. Apparently it's only within the last 12 months. To late now as medication is now a barrier.

A) The 'self-centred' reference was referring to another poster who suggested that a system be put in place to suit their particular preference on donating.

 

 

They have improved the system, and it now does not need my blood, if it is not improved, why change it.

If they want to save money, and make me wait, that is a very poor system. I have called in at around the time that I used to go, and I get turned away, it is not me refusing to give, it is them refusing to take it.

It takes a lot to get me to make a doctors appointment, I will leave blood donation to those with more spare time.
