40summat
I wouldn't advise anyone to venture into sewers or storm culverts without a gas monitor and escape sets, i know i sound like a kill joy but the dangers are very real and people die in those environments every year. Sheff2006
I would also really like to see what Sheffield is like underground, even if it's just the gated subway/underpass at the top of the moor just to see what it's like these days. illuminati
I wonder if they turned the hole in the road and various other underground areas (including the subway at the top of the Moor) into secret government bunkers???? Also, what ever happened to the fish??

bus man
About 20 years (more ?) ago when they put the main sewer in to blackburn meadows which runs roughly down brightside lane they had a calander report on it that is very big its big enough for a double deck bus and they actually had a 5 course proper black tie dinner down there . In certain weather conditions you can actualy smell the sewer when you drive over the covers
