The food is always sound in there. Nothing fancy, just good honest home cooked food. Really friendly owners and staff as well, this despite the landlord being a blade! Karamazov
We went in a couple of weeks ago at 6:45 and had the (above average) vegetarian quiche and chips. Place was fairly busy and had a 20 minute wait for the food which is fine. I asked about food times and landlord said they were taking orders up to about 7:30. The refurb has been well done and it has a cosy atmosphere. We were impressed - it's a really good to see a walkley pub improving, especially when the rest are just getting worse. Chocca94
Went last night & it was full of screaming kids running amok all over the place. Food was ok but rather bland, and landlady really moody. Wouldn't recommend to go if you want a quiet peaceful meal
