finoni9
We went to Baan Thai for my mum's 75th and after living in thailand for 10 yrs can say the food was great - you have to remember that every Thai restaurant will be slightly different as each part of Thailand have their own way of making different dishes!! so it depends which part of Thailand the chef originated from! How much is the Sunday buffet?
Bonny
I meet up with the girls for lunch at the Baan Thai fairly regularly (every couple of months) and they're always lovely and the food very tasty.
redrobbo
I was nervous about going to Baan Thai earlier this year, but only because I've never eaten Thai cooking and have an aversion to curry. I was bowled over! In fact, I instantly booked a table for the following week and took some friends for a meal. I'm now a confirmed fan of Thai cooking and I have Baan Thai to thank for that. Jessica23
I'm a big fan of Baan Thai, for the decor and the lovely staff as much as the food. Great place
upinwath
Maybe it's got better since I went but didn't like it much. It used to give me a laugh when I saw the sign as the name sounds very much like the mandarin word for pervert.
Briny Reck
Baan Thai is good but the food is no better than any other Thai eatery in town and certainly not worth the hefty price tag. It's easy to be seduced by it's opulent interior and to think that it's better because it's more expensive.
jemson
Thai at the Travellers in Holmesfield is better imo. Try it!
