Alien52 Posted May 5, 2011 Share Posted May 5, 2011 After several good meals here we went again on Tuesday evening. It was probably the worst eating experience we have ever had. I had a starter which included a poached egg. The egg was cold and the yolk was solid.My wife had Fish and Chips which were,more or less, inedible. My steak was way over cooked and sitting on top of it was a green/yellow object which I failed to identifyMy chips were cold and greasy. We complained and they did reduce the main course bill by 50%. sequin Posted June 21, 2011 Share Posted June 21, 2011 I went this weekend food below average cold and one of us in the group had lamb shank all dried up . Sirloin steak comes with ONE mushroom ..at £17 !! We had the fly problem too . I wont be visiting this place again plenty of other places to eat in Sheffield . sedith Posted August 2, 2011 Share Posted August 2, 2011 the moorland is a great meal at the owler bar , sunday lunches all week round a choice of beef , turkey , or gammon , eat as much veg as you like , and all for £3.50 during the week and £5.95 at weekends , its my favorite eating hole 'Hole' being the key word!
