Kry10 Posted June 13, 2007 Share Posted June 13, 2007 Roger Delgado was a good Master, but, don't forget, there was also Roger Delgado, Peter Pratt, Anthony Ainley, Eric Roberts who have played him, same as the Doctor, it doesn't matter so much who plays him, it's HOW they play him, and John Simm is a good actor, so, we will have to wait and see. John Simm is a marvellous actor - one of my very favourites - but I can't see him delivering the sense of menace and malevolence (great word!) that is an integral part of the Master. I guess he can't be worse than Eric Roberts though. Seriously, it's a brave move, and I really hope it comes off. It's always a pleasure to have John Simm on our screens!
