Redfyre Posted October 11, 2008 Share Posted October 11, 2008 Anyone have memories of a workshop on Matilda Street in the early 50s and up to the early 60c, part of the CWS building (opposite Pooley's) but devoted to repairing CWS weighing machines at branches throughout the area. Two chaps I remember from there were called Brookes and Hanson, they were scale mechanics. The boss was called Clem Ambler, and he came from Meadowhead.
