iansheff
What do you want, injection moulded or rapid prototyping, there was a company near Dinnington that would make the model I wanted a few years ago but was not cheap.

simpson111
what i really need is someone who can advise me on what type of plastic i need to use for my requirements,(not plastic explosives im afraid). As far as i know, plastic is made from a recipe of different chemicles and i dont know where to start. If i go to China without the forulation ready i could end up with anything. firesine
The main ingredients of plastics are called 'polymers'. Sheffield University have a polymer consultancy who would be able to advise, probably for a fee. They're called 'FaraPack Polymers' (it won't let me post a link - sorry!) If they can't help, they would almost certainly be able to put you in touch with people who could - they have lots of industrial and academic contacts.
