Charlotte_24
It's all very well looking, i've been doing that for months with no luck. There is no flexibility at all, i've even been told that i have to either take sick days as holiday or not get paid for them (i'm not a temp). Cyclone
That's probably illegal, why not give ACAS a quick call.

Dave650
I don't get a lunch hour either, doesn't matter I get job satisfaction instead.
Charlotte_24
Even half an hour would do, didn't mind at first but my workload has steadily increased too and now i'm expected to also do the job of a staff member the manager let go to save money.. with no payrise, of course So yes, seems i will do overtime for free, just not out of choice. sharpend
can we ask what industry or sector you work in? DON'T risk identifying yourself - just answer "No" if you would risk that?

daftlad
I bill by the hour. There are advantages to being self employed. I suppose their is, but there will not be many people at the staff Christmas party:thumbsup:
Cyclone
I'm invited to the party of the client I'm currently working for. Probably not going though as it's in London.
sharpend
I suppose their is, but there will not be many people at the staff Christmas party:thumbsup: Another reason to be self employed - you aren't surrounded by drunken fools at the christmas party Back to OP - Sorry to say but you either need to front up to this guy (armed with the facts from CAB etc) or leave. Sure you will get support on here but thats just moral support. To make a clean break of it, you need to do more than just get moral support. Good luck..
