stonecircle
Sportsman, Lodgemoor (near Three Merry Lads) or Robin Hood, Little Matlock, Stannington are both good.
jennym705
Thanks everyone. Loads there to go at. We tend to go to the crosspool tavern and fancied something different. Spoilt for choice now lol.

rainbow sky
I would recommend "Table Table" opposite Meadowhall Retail Park, just after big roundabout, on left hand side. We have been there twice in the last couple of weeks, excellent service and really nice surroundings. Good choice of menu, for kids as well. citycentral
The Labybower Inn is excellent. Can't fault the staff and the portions are superb. As far as I know, it's also cheaper than the Yorkshire Bridge, and the Ladybower has a better atmosphere IMHO.
Smack Jack
Milestone at Kelham Island is first class. Strines is ok and Meadow Farm at Ecco is passable too. Its all made in house at Milestone though which marks it out from the rest for me
