Lostrider
Can anyone remember any Anti Vietnam War Demonstrations in the 1970,s. I went along with my camera to one on the Town Hall steps. After the speeches the organisers set a pram with a doll inside, on fire. This was to represent the napalming (or Collateral Damage as the yanks like to call these things ) of children. Fights ensued, the police piled in and arrested some guys. I thought this is it, take some pictures, sell them to the star become famous, begin a new career in photo Journalism. At this point some straight guy in a dark coat put his hand on my shoulder and told me if I took any pictures I would be arrested. So I didn’t If it happened now, I would just take the pictures and do a runner but I was young and naive then.
