DemonSeed666
Yeah me and our lass are going. Will be the first time for both of us. Lookin' forward to seeing Saxon too. Think we'll be heading to the Dove & Rainbow for a quick pint or two before hand, as i think many others will be doing.
borderoo
Niiiice, i promise you, your gonna have an amazing time, theyre one of the best live bands i've ever seen my ears bled last time XD. goldenfleece
Will be playing a good bit of Motorhead tonight at the Dove, and some Bon Jovi too as tribute band on at Boardwalk.....
muddycoffee
I was at the gig last night and Saxon were fabulous. Motorhead however were truly awful. They had their guitar amps on too loud and I could not hear the vocals very well at all. I would have expected better from a band with such a great name. muddycoffee
It would be nice to hear what others thought of the gig. We watched motorhead for about 30 to 40 minutes before we got sick of it and left. Saxon had a fantastic response from the crowd. They really should have been the headliners. Was in the Dove for a couple of hours prior to the gig. Sure i did'nt hear any Motorhead/Saxon songs played though. Still, had a great time.

Yeah Motorhead were alot LOUDER THEN EVERYTHING ELSE at the gig. Felt the Base turning my insides into mush:hihi::hihi: Being my first time seeing them i can't comment on their previous gigs but me and our lass really enjoyed ourselves. Also Saxon definetly rocked
Fantomas
I really enjoyed it, thought Motorhead were well on form (fifth or sixth time I've seen them in the last 20 years). As for the sound, I was wearing earplugs and had no problem hearing everything.
