We're holding a karaoke contest, a bit like the X factor on the run up to Christmas. There's still time to take part. There are three weeks of heats left including tonight! Simply put your name down behind the bar when you arrive and I'll call you up to sing. There's a panel of judges including the rapper, Steve, star of the X factor!!!!! Bassman62 Posted May 16, 2009 Share Posted May 16, 2009 Apperknowle just outside Sheffield has an excellent open mike/jam session run by Russ Dennet (ex Human league) there are excellent singers and brilliant musicians (me included) and all are welcome from beginners etc. This is real live music of many genres.
