Tubthump
Arrrrrrrrrrr Ladies, Laddies, Sailors and Sailees, Yes, it’s Mutiny time again-“Sheffield's premier night of funtertainment”- an evening of music, laughter, tears and mild arousal that I help promote, and which always features the band I play in. If you’ve not been to one yet, what the hell have you been doing the last year? This month’s is even more specialler than the extravaganzas we’ve laid on previously in that it’s exactly, to the rounded up month, one year since the first one. To mark the occasion, the bill looks like this: Kill The Captains – as has been the way the last few occasions, we’ll hog the limelight by closing proceedings, noising it up and riding the crest of a six-strung, guitar shaped wave – http://www.killthecaptains.co.uk Our old friends from Glasgow who were on the very first Mutiny bill - Cuddly Shark (“A do-it-yourself, plug in and play Rock McCombo”) are coming down to celebrate with us and to teach everyone a very valuable lesson in how to rock it down http://www.myspace.com/cuddlyshark Making it a triumvirate of Power and to continue the animal theme-ology, we’ve got Leeds based Subterranean pop slackers Wonderswan (“partying like it’s 1994”) http://www.myspace/wonderswan Please join us. The date is Saturday November 22nd, the venue is The Grapes, Trippet Lane, the cost is £3. You’ll have a ball.
