Inclucity
hello, I'm planning a birthday for someone - and looking for a nice traditional tea room. Hopefully with an open fire and a selection of cakes etc.. I was thinking of somewhere in Bakewell or that area but open to any other locations. Does anyone have any suggestions..? thanks, Pete

Val@Spice
Long time since I went, but my favourite always used to be the Old Post Office, Edensor, on the Chatsworth Estate. Such memories!!!:
altec
Eyam Tea Rooms in, ahem, Eyam, is lovely and does an amazing selection of cakes etc. Can't remember if they have an open fire though...
EdnaKrabappe
It's a drive but I've always liked the Curlew Cafe in Otley which meets all this. Or you could go all out and go to Bettys in Harrogate.
