It is actually £3.50 for the lunchtime carvery, but goes up to about £6.00 in the evenings.

I was actually taken out there one lunchtime and the average diner was around 50 years older than me.

The food however was remarkably good for the price, although there were long queues.

 

As a pensioners lunch spot it certainly fullfills its role. Not so sure that I would rush back though.

On first glance it appears to be "delivered in an artic' generic chain carvery stodge". Try the Peacock on the roundabout it's much nicer.

 

I did have an experience in the Moorlands car park once though. A whole different thread that one...

 

yes but at the moorlands there is somewhere for the children to play, when I nannied fultime we often used to take the children there to the ball pit !
