MumphitMan
Carr Bank Road in Nether Green. Was a real pain in the arse when I used to walk home from High Storrs only to have to walk up CBR at the finish. Have known cars not been able to get up without a run up. A real pain in winter snow also. Buying a Landrover was the only option.

Wavey
Linley Lane at Frecheville is a beauty. In fact from Normanton Springs, accross Birley Moor Road, to the brow of Fox Lane. Thats a chuffing hike and no mistake.
Emilychee
Theres a road in Deep Car (cant remember the name) that my auntie and uncle used to live on. Used to **** myself when we drove down it. Had to put bricks in front of the wheels when we parked
Ned Ludd
I've no idea! This thread couldn't take place in Leeds, Manchester etc could it. It's these hills which makes Sheffield such a brilliant place to live in OK, I may curse having crawled to the top of some hill but it doesn't last for long and there's something to marvel at, seeing a new view of the City for the first time. Infestation
kent road can't qualify for the steepest because it goes back up the other side then. it's the only road i've seen with handrails on to help you get up though. my vote goes to jenkin road (my dad live at the top of it, and being unfit and walking up it isn't too much fun)
Captain_Scarlet
How about Hillfoot Road, that is incredibly steep ! Derbyshire lane ain't half bad either, and it's used by buses.
