hudson-phili
Blake St? ... I always need a pint or two in The Blake after struggling up it I used to drink in the Blake on the odd occasion when a guy nicknamed ' Chicken George ran it. There was Ducks, Goats and other animals in the back yard along with a few Chickens. He would have a pot of stew boiling on the open fire in the back room on a Saturday lunch time (wonder where he got the meat from!!);) and charge Half a Crown for a bowl and two slices of bread, extra for the Hendersons Relish. Does anybody remember his correct name?
soft ayperth
I haven't looked at all the postings and I don't know many of the streets that have been mentioned but wouldn't East Bank Rd be high in the rankings?
Jeffrey Shaw
I'm not inclined to argue.
SiSiSi
has Langsett Avenue at Middlewood been mentioned? Surely steeper than Hagg Hill.
Cyclone
has Langsett Avenue at Middlewood been mentioned? Surely steeper than Hagg Hill. Maybe at the very bottom... But I'm not sure. I certainly find it harder to run up Hagg Hill.
onlineo
Ok, so after 15mins of reading some of the previous posts, it is HaggHill for definite that is the steepest.

Google 'Steepest Hill in Sheffield' you'll find the answer. Hagg Hill doesn't have a pub at the top, Blake Street does or did, at least you'll get a pint after the slog!!!
