Situated towards the bottom of London Road, and run by a legendary Turk known as Abrahim Metro, the loss of this institution a few years ago was a bleak day for Sheffield. Mr. Metro's own artwork was hung on the walls. Very dark stuff actually! Mr. M would often be drunk, rambling on about something or other. He used to be in the NATO Army, and had newspaper cuttings of his glory days. His donner meat pizzas were legendary. You could buy beer there. You could buy Russian cigarettes there. It was amazing!
