hillsbro
theres a stone circle near grindleford is this correct? Yes - there's one not far away - see http://www.stone-circles.org.uk/stone/wetwithens.htm There is also an Iron Age fort at Carl Wark on Hathersage Moor (just north of the "Toad's Mount" rock on the A6187 near Fox House) - http://www.stone-circles.org.uk/stone/carlwark.htm. Although neither of these offers very much interest to the non-archaeologist, they provide a good excuse for a nice walk on a fine day!
