Rich Posted April 11, 2005 Share Posted April 11, 2005 Hi. Does anyone know of any good pub quiz nights local to the S6 area? We do go in the Crown and Glove aka Top House here in Stannington on a Wednesday night for the quiz but the pub has recently changed hands and the new management are making the quizzes too hard, a view shared by most of the locals as a lot of people have stopped going in on quiz nights. So Dad, myself and my Uncle are looking for an alternate venue that does a good quiz night, preferably on a week night. Anyone got any ideas? Starts about 10 ish and is free to enter, with a prize of a gallon of beer/lager. They also put on a couple of trays of sarnies. The beer in there is excellent too, especially the cask ones.
