ChrisTodd
Can't remember the name but there is a good one on Middlewood Road on the same section of shops as the Proud Potato. You can't miss it as it is the only shop on that section where customers are queing on the street.
Ms Macbeth
What about the Hei Moon on Middlewood Road - across from the park. Its a restaurant but also does take away. You can't miss it, its bright green and well lit!
rosaespanola
I'd second the Hei Moon - they do takeaway or restaurant service, but the menu is much longer in the restaurant and it doesn't really cost any more, so you might as well eat in. They've also started doing a lunchtime deal and an eat all you want menu for £10.95 - we haven't tried it yet, but they cook the food to order rather than having tasteless food sitting around getting cold like most of the Chinese buffet places, so it'll probably be pretty good. You can feed a family of 4 on one portion of rice and a main. I wouldnt recommend it though.
