alexcampbell Posted March 23, 2009 Share Posted March 23, 2009 hey i think players is great. something a bit different, have a good dance but dont have to wait until 2am! think the dancers are great, very talented. the people who go there seem alright too. i disagree about it being similar to embrace because i cant stand that place! however i would say that i no loads of people who are very unimpressed by all the bar staff wearing next to nothing and gives it a sleazy image. nice just to get a drink from someone wearing some clothing. think its really degrading and cheap. not saying anyone is exploiting at all by the way. but thats the only thing i could say negative about it. i go there once a week maybe and always have a really good night out! :-) Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

Couldn't disagree more, I'm 35 and go in there with my friends. There are plenty others around my age in there at the weekends also. We have a great time! DaisyBoo Posted March 25, 2009 Share Posted March 25, 2009 went there on saturday for the first and last time. not by my choice though as i was just meeting some people from work. was awful, full of chavs, girls dressed in fancy dress or not very much etc. i actually thought the guys on the stage were some drunk idiots who had got up there for a laugh, didnt realise they were actually paid to do that!! really really bad dancers, made me cringe just watching them. awful bar will not go back. serves me right for venturing off division street i suppose. will stick to bungalows/forum/bowrey/soyo in future. Too many drunken rowdy chavs in there, not a classy place where you can socialise with friends properly.
