melv
I went past the Maynard yesterday & it was closed. Has it gone belly-up?
brianthedog
They had a refurb on the rooms this time last year (may have been Feb actually). I wonder if they're doing a bit more work?

Does anyone know if they have overnight accommodation?? Cheers... They do but you may find that the wedding party has booked the lot up - it's only 10 rooms. The Fox House at the top has rooms, as do the Plough on Leadmill Bridge (between Hathersage and Grindleford), and The George in Hathersage. The place in Grindleford doesn't have very good reviews on Trip Advisor so may be best avoided.
Burkey
They have fabulous rooms. We stayed there at Christmas and the food was excellent too!
