eastbank
the book is called OUR GENERATION by Tony Beesley a lad from Rawmarsh, its being published by JUMA BOOKS,seen a rough draft and he's put it together quite nicely, loads of pictures and quotes from your average joe bloggs through to the people who played in the bands like Poly Styrene of X Ray Spex and Jo Callis plus many more.. All the venues around South Yorkshire are mentioned and looking at some of the ticket prices we seemed to have enjoyed some classic bands like the stranglers, clash, pistols, damned, sham, specials, madness etc and all on the cheap,i mean 75p to see the ramones and talking heads at the donny outlook..happy days..hope to have it available in the next couple of months...
