Hi there.

I have just started my family tree and have found out that my family lived and worked in sheffield as boot and shoe makers / repairers.

they lived worked and went to school on bole hill road or bell hagg road.

does anyone know of any staceys from early 1900's, they moved to theddlethorpe in lincolnshire in about 1920.

any help would be gratefull.

thanks I only have the info that my uncle les can give me.

his father was :

Frank Stacey b c1886 married to Alice Barber b c1884 - 1979 highbradfield.

siblings:

Franklin george 1912 - 2003

Harold 1913 - 1995 ( my father)

Alice 1916

Ethel 1916 - 1996

les 1919

Vera 1922 - ? b Theddlethorpe,Lincolnshire.

any help finding frank's father would be very welcome.

george h stacey 40 blacksmith

elizabeth 39

hector 17

george 13 office boy

ruth 7

frank 4

 

frank 14 is a boot repairer in 1901

 

looks like enoch was george's brother

 

enoch and george's parents were elijah and sarah
