Sunday 18th January 2009 sees the return of Mr. Plinio Dourado and his fantastic band, 'The Brazilian Spirit of Jazz' at abuelo (543 ecclesall road) and as usual, tickets are a tenner, which gets you 2 hours of live latin jazz, a platter of chilli and nachos (veggie option available!) and a glass of house wine or beer upon arrival. There'll also be speciality cocktails, exclusive to the night! The jazz night runs from 8 til 11 pm, with the bar open til 1 am after, all in the ambient and cosy surroundings of abuelo.
