St. John Fisher School in the 1960's

Gosh! I remember Miss Curly; although I went to St John Fishers Junior school in Hackenthorpe, she was my form teacher there in the early 70's . As I remember she always wore lots of layers of clothes - even in the height of summer. Sadly my memories of her are not good ones.

Can we establish whether we're talking about St John Fisher secondary at Woodhouse/Handsworth, or St John Fisher primary at Hackenthorpe?

My stepson went to SJF primary.

The clue's in the opening post PT.

If it's now used by the fire service it's the old St John Fisher Secondary school building on Beaver Hill Road, twixt Handsworth & Woodhouse.
