If I've got the right streets my Grandmother Shepherd lived at 10 Cottam street up until the 1960's. I remember a tripe shop on the main road that had a dog made out of Park Drive packets in the window. Also the local barber where us youngsters stood on a box and he walked around you to cut your hair!

my gran liveat 17 mrs butler.

I loved going to Mrs Killilees. I was born in 1951 and lived in Fawley Road. The good old days! Does anyone remember the man with the horse and cart selling fruit and veg? We used to hitch a ride up the street on the cart. Remembering Margery Oldfield who ran the post office at the end of Fawley road as well.
