Like the song Janie,  got the written lyrics signed by Pattie Boyd,  but not keen on Eric Clapton.

The song evokes nostalgia for me Cressida, I associate it with some very happy memories.

I also think Eric Clapton is one of our very best guitarists  but there are others I also admire.

Good guitarist I agree,  so many more it's difficult to choose,  I'd go for Hendrix.

Memories are lovely - and dreams 😊

In the 70s I worked for a car spares company in Sheffield in my teens. When her 2nd album 'Love To Love You Baby' came out my gaffer had the cassette in his car. He'd sometimes send me out in it to make deliveries to and from the branch in Doncaster.
I could make that journey last the EXACT time of side one. 16 mins 48 seconds. Push it into the slot leaving the depo and the closing bars would be playing as I drove into the car park of the sister branch in Doncaster.
I'd drive like a man possessed though...... Donna had that effect on me.
Imagine if I'd have had a smash? The death certificate would probably read Cause Of Death; Donna Summer's orgasms.
