moffdotcom Posted January 27, 2009 Share Posted January 27, 2009 The rose and crown does a great carvery at lunchtimes for a mere £3.50 and it now has a new evening menu of proper food all home made. We went on saturday 2 adults and two kids it cost just over £30 smashing value. The kds menu is not the usual chicken nuggat crap but smaller portions of the adult menu ie cottage pie or lasagne the normal pub grub but cooked wonerfully. Jason Orange Posted February 16, 2009 Share Posted February 16, 2009 Anyone thinking of trying this place, avoid. Went in for Valentines Meal as advertised to find there was no FOOD. Also pub appeared to have a lot of characters loitering who must of clearly been using naughty substances. Anyone looking for a decent meal around that area try the Fox and Hounds, anywhere else in Eckington is a **** hole full of druggies.
