Harleyman
I vaguely remember a Patsy Pellegrina or Pellegrino who went to the Sacred Heart School (The school was up a side street across the road from Hillsborough barracks. Cant remember the name of the side street) This was back in 1945/6 or thereabouts
sliver
My dad was born on Copper street 1912 his mate who i used to work with was Joe Pelligrina later of the woodthorpe estate. My dad told me when he was younger about 15 or 16 he would sometimes hire a barrel organ on wheels from one of his Italian neighbours and push it on a Friday night to Dronfield stopping at every pub on route to play and then go round with the hat this would take him all weekend and he would pay for the hire whan he got back on Sunday night. His mum was half Italian i understand.
